Zane's Zoo

Zane's Zoo is about giving second chances and hope while promoting reading.  Our previously loved  plush animals  have been outgrown and need a new boy or girl to share adventures.   By giving these cute, cuddly, soft plush animals,   a new purpose   they also help  animals in shelters waiting for their forever homes.  A part of the proceeds from each purchase is donated to  animal rescue groups and no-kill shelters.

ABOUT

Zane tHE cat

Zane became a part of  our family after the loss of  Badger The Cat.   Zane had huge  paws to fill.  Badger  was the alpha male and  a unique cat  in his    own right.

Zane  was adopted from a local animal shelter. From the first moment he  met my husband, it was apparent this cat was the perfect  successor for Badger.  

Type  A would be the best way to describe  this cat's personality.  His meow was authoritative, he walked with a purpose, and  held no fear.  If Satan would have come to our front door this cat's greeting would have been, "I'm Zane and who are you?"    He loved watching TV, especially when Georgia was playing, thus his nickname -Georgia Bullcat.  Caturday was his favorite  day.   

We lost Zane unexpectedly   due to health complications  a few years past.   To honor him, his spirit , and legacy ,  it was decided to name Zane's Zoo in  his  memory.
